One hundred Years of celebrating musicians from the Past, the Present and the Future, still rings true today and will be reflected in this concert and dinner. At this gala event there will be a distinguished line-up of well-loved Perth musicians (Deanna Blacher OAM, Naomi Johns, Shuan Hern Lee, Paul O’Neill, Marilyn Phillips OAM, Jeffrey Shield, Paul Wright).
Aquinas College Schola Cantorum under the direction of Hugh Lydon will perform the world premiere of a work by Iain Grandage AM, which has been commissioned by the Club for the Centenary.
Celebrate this milestone in the history of Western Australian music.
During the gourmet three-course dinner Patron Geoffrey Lancaster AO will launch the book “Past, Present and Future: The History of the Royal Schools Music Club in Western Australia 1926-2026” by Jean Farrant and John Meyer
Musical surprises will be enjoyed in the magnificent Government House Ballroom.
